Soccer Fans . FC Dallas Game
We took in an FC Dallas game this spring with Kate's soccer team, the Angels. Not only did the kids enjoy it, but so did Brian and I. Outside of the weather being absolutely perfect, Dallas won the game, the girls had a blast with their friends, and we had great seats to a really fun game. Every Dallas point scored is followed by fireworks at the park, which was a big bonus because who doesn't love fireworks? :) We are definitely going to be coming back for more.
"I Hope You Feel Better"
One of the worst sports pains/injuries I've had in all my years of playing ball. Saturday morning basketball ended about 8 minutes into the first game after I severely sprained my right ankle, tearing five ligaments and damaging some tendons. I had to be carried home by my friends. The girls seemed concerned, as I was in obvious pain. Later that day, I stumbled into our bathroom (on crutches) to see this. Kate and Taylor do their part, in their own way, to help support and show love. It's been hanging up for the last two months, as I've been healing, and I love it. -Brian

Little Lady Turns Two!
Lauren here, with her gift from Aunt Rebecca, could not be happier. The Terrible Two's have not hit yet...we are crossing our fingers that they never appear.
We sure love this little one...she is the happiest and most easy-going 2-year-old we know! Happy Birthday Lauren!
It's the Most Wonderful {Busiest} Time of the Year!
Brian took some pics of the girls a couple of weeks ago- we were having beautiful weather and the leaves had just fallen...it was perfect. If I was really on top of things, these would be my Christmas cards.
Life is so busy right now...getting ready for Christmas parties, Christmas shopping, school breaks (someone has to fill those hours that school used to take up, or every hour is drama hour at our house), getting presents shipped off, and remembering why we celebrate this season. If there is one thing that I know and that certainly keeps life in perspective at this crazy time, it is that my Savior lives, He was born in a lowly stable, lived a perfect life, and died so that our lives today may be made better. I'm grateful for that knowledge and for the awesome responsibility I have to be a mother- it is and always will be my greatest accomplishment.
